Ask any tourist visiting a coastal city, town or island, and they’ll probably say that some sort of boat tour or diving expedition is on their holiday itinerary, however long or short their trip is. Tour companies are only too happy to oblige with sight-seeing tours, snorkelling and diving excursions, or water sport activities, all packaged neatly into hour-long and day-long outings. And while a well-equipped tour boat gets the job done pretty well, there is one that goes the extra mile (both figuratively and literally) to deliver a more expansive experience. Built to go wider, farther, longer
At 9.8M, the OCM’s Amphibious Tour Boat is designed to carry a group. Its fiberglass deep V-hull with reverse chines design ensures smoother, drier rides with greater stability. This hull design also increases the craft’s overall operational range per gallon of fuel carried and consumed. And equipped with a main engine and a smaller back-up engine for the rare emergency, bench seating and storage under the seats, it can certainly go the distance with 13 people including a driver onboard.
Designed to perform, this fast amphibious boat is equipped with OCM’s advanced BAS-100 Amphibious system, comprised of 4 independently motorized wheels that retract completely in the water. For tour operators this means —
- The ability to access previously inaccessible areas such as coves and remote islands
- The means to navigate deep, shallow and rough water with ease and offer a fuller experience
The pièce de résistance, it is the only Amphibious Tour and Transport boat to be certified by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA).
Customized for a better experience
As with any OCM offering, the Amphibious Tour & Transport boat can be customized from the hull up to accommodate special requirements. One can choose from different seating options to replace the bench seating, choose from various console and canopy options, pick a preferred colour and even add provision for diving tanks and an on-board shower.
